Hi Janio! No problem, happy to help :) dbt is a great tool to document all of your data models and include testing. That's what I use! I think data catalogs are really about connecting the business and data teams. I've found that business teams aren't going to go out of their way to learn dbt or understand what the documentation means. Data catalogs are easier for them to navigate and search through. They can also make your life easier with documentation- it auto-populates documentation from different sources like dbt and your orchestration tool to one location. It will also auto-populate columns that have already been defined in your dbt docs. I think the most powerful feature for business teams with catalogs is knowing which datasets are broken or low-quality and then also seeing who is the owner of that asset.
