How to feel your best to perform your best and more

I’ve never been one to be a great speaker, but I usually take any opportunity I’m given when it comes to practicing this skill. A few months back I recorded a podcast with Harpreet Sahota of The Artists of Data Science podcast.

We talked about my experience as a data engineer, how I got started in the field, what it’s like being a woman in tech, and the importance of sleep and a healthy diet in a data career.

It’s definitely not your typical data engineer podcast. We often think practicing our SQL queries or Python functions is what’s going to get us far in our careers. However, how can you do well at these things if you don’t feel your best?

Feeling your best means performing your best.

Make your health a priority and watch all areas of your life improve- your career, relationships, self-growth. When you invest in your health you are investing in everything else. A lot of people don’t realize how awful they feel until they actually feel GOOD. And when you feel 10x better than before, you accomplish more work and BETTER work.

Anyways, check out the episode and let me know what you think.
